Wicks and Parker is a leading concrete, crane hire, and steel fabrication company on the North Coast of NSW. Established in 1927, four generations of the Wicks family have led the business. Many of the North Coast’s iconic buildings bear the hallmarks of Wicks and Parker’s expertise.
Our History
Established over 90 years ago
Wicks and Parker began in 1927 as a blacksmithing workshop, manufacturing the steel bands on timber carriage wheels. The business then expanded to Truck Body Building and trailer fabrication. In 1980, the company ventured into Structural Steel Fabrication and crane hire, purchasing its first mobile crane.
Wicks and Parker are known best for the fabrication and erection of steelwork for the Grafton Shopping Centre and Magic Millions Horse Stables Complex. The company has now expanded its crane fleet and continues to fabricate and supply structural steel throughout the east coast of Australia.

We value safety in all aspects of our work
We take the following steps to ensure each job is done safely, on budget and on time:
- Quarterly in-house inspections on all lifting equipment
- Yearly independent inspections on all lifting equipment
- All cranes assessed and approved annually by CraneSafe
- We provide qualified personnel and supply continued training to up-skill staff
- Staff are trained in WHS and can assist with client enquiries
- We also have personnel trained in first aid procedures
With control measures such as these, Wicks and Parker strive to maintain a high safety standard within the industry.
